Gillian has had a passion for the performing arts since she was a child. She knows the importance of having a supportive mentor from a very young age and strives to provide this. Gillian has enjoyed every leadership position she has had. She has also dabbled in different forms of art throughout her life such as dance, drama and music.

​Gillian has volunteered at many different festivals and events that have helped children thrive within their passions and community. Participating in both competitive and non competitive sports has allowed Gillian to bring an open and knowledgeable perspective to her teaching. She hopes to share her love of being active with her students.

Gillian is currently studying Chemistry at the University of Alberta alongside her childhood best friend Ava! Gillian and Ava have been going to school together since kindergarten so teaching along side her bestie is fulfilling a dream of hers. She hopes that being a mentor for young kids will allow her to help foster such friendships in others!
