Founded in 2016, Griesbach Dance Company is under the direction of Haley Fostvelt, offering dance instruction of unparalleled quality for girls and boys of all ages in Edmonton, Alberta. Miss Haley has gained a reputation for her warm and encouraging nature, but more importantly the focus she places on technique and personal growth for each student. Our qualified, experienced instructors are passionate about teaching and strive to provide a positive, structured, and supportive environment. Griesbach Dance Company places equal emphasis on fun recreational programs, ensuring your child’s dance education will be exceptional regardless of level or intensity. Classes offered at Griesbach Dance Company include Ballet and Hip Hop. We offer classes for ages 2 1/2 up to 13..
We run three sessions per season from September to December, January to March and April to June. Weekly classes run 30, 45 and 60 minutes long depending on the program you choose and the age of the child. All students are given the opportunity to participate in professional dancer photoshoots, exclusive events and of course, the end of session performances! Why Choose Griesbach Dance Company... No Long-Term Commitment Our season is divided into three shorter sessions — Fall, Winter, and Spring — each running 8 to 10 weeks. This means families can join when it works best for them — no need to commit to a full season from September to June. Live Performance Opportunities At the end of every session, our dancers take the stage at family-friendly festivals and sporting events throughout the city. These exciting performances give students the chance to build confidence and shine in front of real, supportive audiences. Recreational and Fun-Focused We’re a recreational dance company that specializes in fun. We don’t participate in competitions — instead, we focus on skill-building, teamwork, and creating a positive experience for every dancer in a pressure-free environment. Experienced Instructors Our instructors have years of professional dance experience and now share their passion in a welcoming, inclusive environment where every child is supported. Affordable, Reusable Costumes We source our costumes locally, so they’re budget-friendly and practical. No paying hundreds of dollars for a one-time costume — many of ours can be worn again and again. Centrally Located Our studio is just 10 minutes north of downtown, conveniently located off the Anthony Henday on 97th Street — making it easy for families across the city to get here. |
