What to expect for your first day of dance and how to prepare your dancer...
DROP-OFF - Assess your dancer using the COVID-19 Alberta Health Daily Checklist before coming to the studio - Temperatures must be checked by parents before coming to the studio - Ensure dancer has a full water bottle & dance shoes, please do not bring unnecessary items - Dancers will sanitize their hands as they arrive - Students must arrive in their dance attire, there will be no use of change rooms - Parents of the Tiny/Mini classes will take jackets and belongings. All Junior and Advanced classes will have a designated area for jackets & belongings
PICK-UP - Dancers will sanitize their hands as they leave - Please ensure you arrive on time to pickup your dancer
IN THE STUDIO - Class sizes have been maxed out at the appropriate number of up to 12 students per class - Attendance will be taken and recorded to ensure who is present each day in the studio - Water fountains have been closed off, please ensure your dancer has a full water bottle - Washrooms are limited to two dancers at a time
GENERAL SAFETY - Masking is no longer legally required, however is encouraged and supported in the communal spaces of the studio e.g. waiting room, entryway, hallway, etc. During dance classes: masking is supported, but not required by dancers during class time - Please help us minimize the dancers in our building at any one time by arriving no more than 5 minutes before classes and picking up no more than 5 minutes after classes end. - We encourage parents to wait outside the facility during class time. We continue to have limited seating available in our waiting room. - Tiny/Mini Parents will be able to watch their child's class via zoom on your phone, scan your child's class (QR code) while checking in - A 10-minute studio break between classes in order to provide assistance for the entry and exit of our younger students who require a little extra care and attention. - If your dancer has any signs or symptoms, PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR DANCER - Please note, if your dancer develops signs and symptoms, they will be removed from class and will be required to be picked up immediately.
CLEANING AND SANITIZING PROTOCOLS - We have upgraded our cleaning practices to include the use of the UltraMist Fogging System, this system is used to disinfect the studio, in full, in under 5 minutes -Multiple bottles of hand sanitizers are located throughout the studio
