Akaisha’s dance journey began right here at Griesbach Dance Company, where she joined the senior hip hop class at just ten years old. Growing up training in both hip hop and ballet, she discovered not only her love for performing but also her passion for sharing dance with others.

Today, Akaisha is proud to be back with GDC — this time as a hip hop instructor inspiring the next generation of dancers in the same studio where she first found her own spark. She is passionate about creating an inclusive, welcoming environment where students can have fun, build confidence, and form positive relationships.

Outside the studio, Akaisha is pursuing a Sociology major with a minor in Early Childhood Education at Concordia University of Edmonton and aspires to become a teacher one day.
